The FURN 5.0 consortium met on 4–5 November in Rimini for its 4th partners’ meeting, hosted by FederlegnoArredo alongside the Ecomondo fair. The discussions centred on two key project outputs currently in development: the FURN5.0 Guide – 15 Applications and the FURN5.0 Self-Assessment Tool.

Partners reviewed the latest progress on the FURN5.0 Guide – 15 Applications, which will present practical examples of how Industry 5.0 technologies can be implemented in the furniture sector. 

Work also advanced on the FURN5.0 Self-Assessment Tool, designed to be a simple and time-efficient resource for furniture companies. The tool will allow enterprises to assess their Industry 5.0 maturity level through a short questionnaire and receive tailored recommendations for improvement.

The partners’ meeting concluded with a visit to Ecomondo, a leading international platform for the green and circular economy that gathers industries, policymakers, and researchers working on sustainable innovation. During the visit, the consortium stopped at FederlegnoArredo’s booth, and met with Gruppo Saviola and FANTONI Spa, gaining further insights into innovative technologies and sustainable solutions within the wood and furniture sectors.
