In the framework of the Furn5.0 project, we are happy to announce the launch of the Industry 5.0 Self-Assessment Tool – Industry 5.0 Maturity Practices and Scenarios for Furniture Companies

This tool provides a structured framework to assess the Industry 5.0 maturity of furniture companies, based on 51 practices and scenarios organised into four strategic blocks: Technology Deployment, Sustainability, Human-Centricity and Resilience. These four blocks represent the key dimensions required to build a competitive, sustainable, human-focused and resilient furniture industry.

The assessment is designed as a self-evaluation exercise. Within each block, you will find a set of concrete practices covering design, production, organisation, sustainability and value-chain collaboration. Each practice should be evaluated using the proposed maturity scale, ranging from “Not implemented” to “Fully implemented, optimised and continuously improved”. This allows companies to objectively understand their current level of maturity and compare progress across different Industry 5.0 dimensions.

Industry 5.0 requirements are increasing in the furniture sector. Is your company ready to lead the transition?

  • Mark all the answers that best reflect your company’s current practices and scenarios across all blocks.
  • Obtain your Industry 5.0 maturity index (0 - 100%).

  • Explore recommended actions and technological applications for selected practices to support improvement and prioritisation.

The objective of this tool is not only to measure performance, but also to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making, enabling furniture companies to align with Industry 5.0 principles while strengthening long-term competitiveness and value creation.
